The cover for the newest Star Wars film, “Rogue One,” was a cover of a tune by the Edge Music Group, which has been making popular covers for music.
The theme song, written by the group’s founder and star, Andy Grammer, and the cover artwork were the first in the new trilogy, and it was chosen by composer Richard Dreyfuss.
The cover art also features the Edge logo.
“We are excited to be able to share with you the cover of the new film, ‘Rogue One’ that is coming soon,” the Edge music group said on Twitter.
“This cover will give you an insight into how our songs were chosen to help tell this epic story.”
In a statement, the Edge said it “takes great pride in its work and our commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment to audiences around the world.”
DreyFuss and the Edge have been making music in concert since the 1970s, according to Billboard.
They have been credited with some of the most iconic covers of rock, rap, country, pop and country music, including covers of Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Cure and The Who.
The Edge was founded in 1969 by George Martin, who has since written and recorded more than 50 songs for the group.
“I have had the honor to collaborate with George on many occasions over the years,” Grammer said in a statement.
“But his contribution to our music has never been limited to composing.
The entire Edge music team has always taken inspiration from George’s creativity.
It’s important to us that our music reflects the great history of the band.”
The new movie, directed by Rian Johnson, was released on Dec. 18.
The film stars Felicity Jones, Domhnall Gleeson, Donnie Yen, Diego Luna and Gwendoline Christie.
