Hi-fi company JB has announced that it is working on a battery-saving solution that will allow the iPhone 6s and iPhone 8 to use the same battery.
iPhone 6S will be able to charge up to four hours of music on a single charge and the iPhone 8 will charge the battery to 10 hours.
“In the future, the iPhone will be powered entirely by the iPhone, and you will never need to worry about battery life,” said JB head of product innovation and engineering Craig Cocks.
The company also said it was working on ways to allow for faster charging in certain cases.
JB says it is aiming to ship the iPhone Xs Max to its customers in October.
Cocks also told the Wall Street Journal that the company is working with Apple on a new iPhone XS Max.
